Biography

Whitney comes from a very athletic family and she knew from a young age that she wanted to be involved in sport whether it was as an athlete or as a medical staff. She was heavily involved in soccer until an injury when she was in her early teens, disrupted her path. After recovering from it, she was heavily fascinated by how people would get season ending injuries and sometimes come back even better than they were before. This was one of the reasons why she decided to study Kinesiology and major in athletic therapy.

While going through her studies at the University of Calgary, she was introduced into the world of biomechanics and has since been fascinated by movement and working on optimizing human movement not only on the field of play but also in everyday life. This was why she decided to become a personal trainer/strength coach, because she could share that knowledge not only with the athletes that she works with but also the general population. Her passion and drive in both the fitness and therapy world was one of the reasons why IMPACT magazine selected her as One of the Top Trainers in Canada in 2018.

Whitney has worked with clients & patients from joint replacements looking to be pain free and active again all the way to high performance athletes looking to continue to excel in their sport.
