Shai has been a Strength & Conditioning Coach since 2016, driven by a strong passion for health and fitness. He grew up training in judo and swimming, and during his undergraduate degree in Physical Education at the Wingate Institute, he lost over 60 lbs while preparing for his first marathon. Today, he continues to train daily, focusing on weightlifting, powerlifting, and road cycling.
After two years as a physical education teacher and personal trainer, Shai moved to Canada to pursue his Master’s in Kinesiology at Brock University in St. Catharines, expanding his expertise in sport physiology and biomechanics.
Following graduation, he spent 3.5 years in Saskatoon as a High Performance Lead and Manager of Strength & Conditioning, overseeing athlete training and development. Throughout his career, Shai has worked with clients of all levels, from beginners and rehabilitation clients to elite athletes representing Canada internationally.
