Biography

Mitchell is a strength and conditioning coach with extensive experience across professional baseball and hockey, having worked with organizations such as the Arizona Diamondbacks, Minnesota Twins, and Calgary Flames. His philosophy is grounded in biomechanics, individualized athletic development, and evidence-based return-to-play progressions that effectively bridge the gap between rehabilitation and high performance.

He views every patient as an athlete, because whether someone is competing professionally, returning from injury, or simply striving to move without limitation, the principles of athletic performance apply. His coaching approach focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of movement inefficiencies, building strength and resilience, and preparing each individual to thrive in sport and daily life.

A lifelong learner, Mitchell has studied under some of the most forward-thinking coaches in the field, including completing Bill Hartman’s Intensive program twice. By integrating cutting-edge science with practical sport application, he creates training environments where athletes can safely return to play, unlock new levels of performance, and build long-term durability.
