Biography

Dr. Lauren E. Roberts MD, MSc, FRCSC is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, subspecialized in Foot & Ankle surgery. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Orthopaedic Department at the University of British Columbia. In addition, she is the Associate Director of Undergraduate Medical Education for the UBC Orthopaedic Department, the Education Lead for the UBC Division of Foot and Ankle and the Medical Education site lead, Orthopaedics for Burnaby Hospital. Dr. Roberts received her Medical Degree from McMaster University in 2012. She then completed her Orthopaedic Residency Training at the University of British Columbia. Once a Fellow of the Royal College of Canada, she completed a 1 year Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, NY.

Dr. Roberts provides a comprehensive Elective Foot and Ankle practice treating everything from deformities, arthritis, ankle tendon pathology and ligament instability to minimally invasive cartilage based reconstructive surgery of the ankle and everything in between in addition to her General Trauma practice. Special interests include arthroscopic cartilage restoration of the ankle (talus), ankle ligament reconstruction and mini open achilles repair. She looks forward to working with Acumen Health to expand their surgical care to include simple to complex ankle problems.
