Biography

Carson grew up immersed in sport, spending nearly a decade on the ice as a hockey player before transitioning to football, where he played running back for the Calgary Dinos and the Edmonton Huskies. Along the way, injuries on both the ice and the field became a defining part of his athletic journey. It was through navigating his own setbacks that Carson discovered a passion for strength and conditioning and speed development, with a particular interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Determined to turn that experience into a career, Carson completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, specializing in Sport Performance, at the University of Alberta while building several years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach and speed coach. Carson is a Registered Kinesiologist and is currently working toward becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is also pursuing a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta, driven by a desire to help others build, sustain, and return to their full performance capacity.

Outside of work, Carson is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking and fishing. He is also a devoted Edmonton Oilers and San Francisco 49ers fan.
